1.20 – Prix Marcel Boussac

This Group One 2 year old fillies is raced over 1 mile and is the only race on the French racing calendar that is exclusively for 2 year old fillies. It is without doubt a hugely popular race with many of its winners going to win or contest Classic races the following year.

Its most notable winner, certainly over recent times has been the brilliant Zarkava, who of course went on to win the Arc de Triomphe in her unbeaten career. This year the race has amongst its contenders several Group 3 winners, but picking the winner will not be easy. The Aidan O’Brien filly, Cabaret is well liked at Ballydoyle and could be the one to be on.

Prix Marcel Boussac Tip

Plenty are in with a chance but Rosanara looks the oen to side with. Trained by Alain de Royer-Dupre (who trained Zarkava to win this before she went on to win the Arc) this well bred Filly would not be taking her chance unless it had a serious chance of victory.
